My good friend, Nancy, recently moved back to Berkeley from L.A. Which means great things for me - mainly more time with a near and dear friend. And it meant we got to spend a lovely evening at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, watching Florence and the Machine perform songs from her album, Lungs.
The show was theatrical and gorgeously staged. Her ensemble was a brilliant chartreuse green and had flowing cape-like wings or sleeves, I like to think of them as wings, that fluttered about in the breeze.
It was a beautiful, moonlit evening. Not too cold and with just the faintest touch of fog. Absolutely lovely.
