(This is Sadie. She keeps me company while I'm working on jewelry.)

This past weekend was a weird hodge-podge of things to do. I went to a friend's art opening at Krowswork Gallery in Oakland, went to an open house on Saturday (I'm moving soon!), worked at the coffee shop (I almost always work weekends), spent some quality time with Jeff and the kids, worked on and completed a special necklace order for a customer, and actually had some time to just kick back and relax.

(flowers all from Jeff's and my backyard)

My outfits for days like these have to be very versatile. They have to be comfortable enough for me to ride my bike in (I don't own a car), but I still want to feel like I'm wearing something that is appropriately "me". (You won't catch me donning spandex and such.)

This is what I wore on Saturday. Saturday had me all over town, all by bike.

Outfit details (and, of course, this is also posted to Wardrobe Remix.
~dress and flats ~ thrifted
~leggings ~ Target
~earrings ~ made by me! Tangleweeds Shop

We finished the whole weekend off with a BBQ on Sunday night (just Jeff, the kids, and me). While my weekend was busy, it was balanced-busy, which is pretty much good-busy in my book.

  1. Sounds good. Like your dress too. Very spring. AND nice flowers!

  2. lol your cat is too cute that dress is nice I want a bike like that =)

  3. Sounds like you had a great weekend! ; ) and it's good that you got a chance to relax!

  4. Thanks you guys! Twinn, the bike is from Manifesto Bikes in Oakland. They do custom builds. I adore this bike. It gets me (almost) everywhere I need to go in Oakland and Berkeley.
